How To Switch Google Accounts For In App Purchases

Is there still no way to transfer all Google Play purchases to another Google account?

Want to completely move everything to a different account.

Nope no way, I honestly can't think of a single digital company that allows transferring purchases to a new account. I'm not surprised.

Steam allows you to transfer extra licenses if you already own a game but buy a package deal that includes something you already own. You can gift the extra license to anyone with a steam account. That's the closest I can think of,and clearly isn't the same

No there is not. I did this about a year ago and it was a hassle. But if you get in contact with Google's service department they will help you out if you have a good reason for doing it. They transferred my Google music rate (discounted for early customers) along with some other stuff which was nice of them but I did lose a lot and had to manually transfer my entire drive and calendar and then lost my gmail inbox cause didn't feel like forwarding all of my emails. They service reps can put in a ticket to their engineers who can do some of this behind the scenes for purchases, etc but you will have to deal with all the free stuff yourself which can take a little while

How did you get in touch with them? I'd like to free my gmail account name up for someone else (it's not my primary email address), but all my purchases are tied to it.

This would be a nice option - I regret my email address and wish I could change it, but unfortunately I'm far too invested in that account right now to create a new one without being able to transfer everything.

If you just want a different email address to use when giving out your contact info, you can just set up forwarding and send-as.

I tried to do this at one point as well. Then I realized I could just sign both accounts into my phone, and I was set for my purposes. Not sure if this helps.

I did this for a while but it is not the same as truly using a different account. For me, my old username was not very professional and I realized that even using a pseudo-account for my public address linked to my original account with everything. It is a lot more convenient to have the controlling account be the one you want.
